As well as having amazing health benefits in terms of breathing fresher air, house plants can help with your mental health too. Studies how that gardening is one of the best forms of therapy to combat stress and anxiety. It’s relaxing and helps to focus the mind on one task, leaving behind the clutter and stress of the day.

Even if it’s only for a few minutes, people who tend to their house plants are putting down their phones and turning always from their TVs. And let’s face it, everyone could use a break from the busy world of social media in which to calm their thoughts. You recharge your phone, don’t forget to recharge your mind!

Brighten your mood! 

There’s a lot to be said about pretty little things and the affect they have on our mood. Colour is especially important. It has been suggested that seeing the colour green has a stabilising effect on our emotions, and having bright pockets of colour around the house is an easy mood lifter!
