Tomato Toast: 3 Ways

One of the most popular breakfasts in Spain is bread with tomato. We show you 3 different ways of preparing this simple and healthy recipe in the traditional way.

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes at their optimum ripeness
  • Day-old bread or toasted rustic bread
  • 1 clove of garlic (only in Tumaca Bread)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt

preparation

  • 1. 1. Tumaca bread

    Crush the tomato with a grater.

  • 2.

    Add a good splash of olive oil. Reserve.

  • 3.

    On a slice of toasted bread, rub a clove of garlic cut in half.

  • 4.

    Spread the crushed tomato, oil and tomato mixture on top

    Add a pinch of salt.
    Enjoy!

    On a slice of toasted bread, add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
