If you have been thinking about making bread at home for a long time and you don't take the plunge because you think it is laborious to make. Take note of this recipe for braided bread stuffed with pesto sauce that is very easy to make.

50 g olive oil


500 g of strong flour


8 g dry baker’s yeast


300 g warm water


10 g salt


olive oil spray for greasing

Directions

1. Mix the flour, salt and sifted yeast in a bowl.


2. Add the olive oil and the warm water.


3. Knead with your hands for about 15 minutes until it does not stick to your hands. Roll the dough


4. In a bowl greased with oil spray add the dough, cover with a cloth and let it rise until it has doubled its volume. 4. Approximately 60 minutes. The time will depend on the temperature and humidity of the area.


5. Stretch the dough and fill with green pesto. Roll to form a cylinder, make a longitudinal cut without reaching the end of the end.


6. Form the braid by alternating both strips of dough.


7. Grease a rectangular mold and place the bread braid. 8. Cover with a cloth and let rise until it doubles in volume.


9. Bake at 175o C , 35 - 40 minutes.


10. Allow to cool.
